'75 Gremlin X - Car Restoration Project
Nothing turns heads and draws out excitement quite like our Project Gremlin. Everyone has an opinion.
The task: Build a 400 hp AMC engine with street manners and reliability, yet monster attitude on demand. But don't stop the powerflow at the crankshaft! We're looking to deliver it all through the rear tires and make it stick to the pavement. Oh yeah...and make it look stock from one lane over.
What puts the GRRRRRR!!!! in the Gremlin?
The tricks: AMC 360 fully balanced, Edelbrock aluminum performer heads and air gap intake manifold, 750 double pumper Holley, GM 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission, Ford 9" 4.10:1 posi trac narrowed rear axle, deleted leaf springs, custom rear torque arm suspension with coilover shocks and 11.5" wide rear footprints.
