Boot Hill at "Kings and Classics"
The crew at Boot Hill trailered up and took the show to Rockton Ontario where the annual Kings and Classics car show was taking place. The Rockton Fair Grounds was packed on the 17th & 18th of July with more Elvis than anyone could ask for. Lots of great cars too. We were proud to be a part of this spectacular two day event and display our restoration work. Thanks to Rockin' Ray Michaels and Maurice Corsi of the Kings and Classics car show for their assistance and accommodation, we had a lot of fun.
Recently, we were paid a visit by Rick Walker from Old Autos TV. Rick and his crew arrived one Saturday to check out Boot Hill's facility. Here's what he had to say. "Just wanted to say thanks to all of you at Boot Hill for a great Saturday. I was EXTREMELY impressed with what I saw. I've been through a lot of restoration shops in Canada and yours is by far the most complete anywhere. I was blown away. Even the folks in Western Ontario which is known around the world does not have the equipment you have all in one place. What made the day even better for me was the fact that you guys are very real, and very passionate about what you're doing. We felt right at home. I'm a fan."
I just want to reiterate to our readers out there that Boot Hill is far more than a restoration shop producing innovative resto rods and high end restoration projects. I get many phone calls asking...Do you do tune-ups? Answer, yes! Everything from tune-ups to brakes to minor and major repairs. We do full service body shop work, upholstery and modern upgrades to your car such as disc brake conversion, dynamometer tuning and much, much more. Please write to us with any of YOUR restoration questions. We'd be glad to address them in our blog.
