Welcome to Boot Hill Auto Resurrection. where we "bring classic muscle back to life". Boot Hill has just finished a complete body off restoration of a very special 1963 Corvette split window coupe. It belongs to Paul Coffey of Paul Coffey's Bolton Toyota. He has owned the car for over twenty years and brought the car to us for a mechanical check-over after deciding to get it out of storage for the first time in many years. The car overall was in very good shape. The usual Corvette sore spots like rear trailing arm rust and non functioning headlight doors. And some rust at the bottom of the rad support, but otherwise not bad. The car had been repainted somewhere over it's life from the original Daytona blue to white! He wanted it back to it's original colour and since it was a very clean '63 4 speed 340HP (highest rated next to the fuel injected 360HP)split window coupe, it was indeed deserving of the effort involved. We invite you to browse through our gallery of this project, and others, and see for yourself why knowledgeable car buffs trust their prized possessions to the team at Boot Hill.
It's a very exciting time around here...actually it always is! We're really just getting off the ground and already inquiries and bookings are coming in. We are almost complete on a 'build from scratch' 1967 Mustang GT. Utilizing a new Dynacorn body from our friends at Golden Leaf Automotive, this super car is equipped with Air Ride Technologies Shock Wave air system, Chris Alston's Chassisworks suspension, and a Keith Craft all aluminum 427 cubic inch small block with Mass-flo injection hooked up to a Tremec 5 speed transmission. Ya...WOW !
From fabricating an obsolete bracket to paint and body to "just fix up my interior" we do it.
Please take note in our gallery of a recent project car in the form of a 1967 Chrysler Newport. OK it's not a muscle car, but man when we got finished with it... well it was very rewarding to see the look on the kids face when his father surprised him with this overhauled family car that was supposed to have been sold out from under him. He had no idea it was coming to Boot Hill for "the works". That's the fun part of this job. If you happen to live in our area, check out the country quarterly magazine this season called Caledon Sideroads. In it is an article about us written by local freelance photojournalist, Sandra Traversy. She has captured the spirit of Boot Hill pretty accurately, and we thank her for her article.
I also invite you to keep visiting our web site on a regular basis for upcoming blogs on restoration tips, videos on cool things we've done lately and to visit our gallery. Perhaps there's something there you may use as reference for your own project. Check out our catalog section where you'll find specials on performance parts from time to time and soon a catalog of many restoration and performance parts available from the top suppliers in the industry.
So fasten your seat belts, keep in touch and drop in anytime to speak to the crew and get a tour.
At Boot Hill Auto we're here to help you bring your classic muscle back to life.
